At BMH Technology, sustainability is at the heart of business
BMH Technology is a Finnish technology and project house with long traditions specializing in material handling.
Founded in 1929, the company designs and manufactures automated processing lines for household and industrial waste and material handling systems for wood-based biomass, as well as provides related lifecycle services. The solutions offer BMH’s customers an alternative that helps to replace fossil fuels, promotes material recovery, reduces CO2 emissions and the amount of waste dumped on landfills.
BMH Technology’s TYRANNOSAURUS® waste refining plant refines waste into environmentally friendly SRF/RDF fuel and separates recyclable materials in the process. A typical TYRANNOSAURUS® plant can process as much as the annual mixed waste of 200,000 people into high-quality fuel. Furthermore, BMH also has long traditions in the pulp and paper industry as a supplier for biofuel handling and conveying systems. BMH guarantees a long lifespan for its solutions by offering inspection, maintenance, modernization, and lifecycle services.
For BMH, sustainability is a self-evident value that guides all the company’s activities. This is reflected, among others, in the way in which the company highlights personnel wellbeing and safety at work, as well as responsibility for the environment. BMH’s sustainability has also been recognized: the company has received ISO certification for occupational safety, quality, and environmental matters.

Since the 1980s until today, BMH’s solutions have helped companies avoid CO2 emissions amounting to 514 million tons, which corresponds to 213 million single flights around the world.
